J. Max Mikitish is a sophomore Linguistics major in Silliman College. His main academic interests are historical linguistics, areal linguistics, etymology, and dialectology. He has studied nine languages (7 while at Yale): Spanish, Latin, Hittite, Chinese, Tibetan, Old English, German, Avestan, and Vedic Sanskrit. He also studies French, Greek, and many other languages on his own time.
