Thanks for visiting the Newhouse Group homepage!

Have you ever wondered how the human brain works? We are a new group that applies synthetic and mechanistic organic chemistry to the construction of neurologically active architectures. Through collaborative research, these complex molecules will be leveraged to both answer fundamental questions in neuroscience and therapeutically address neurological dysfunction.

Students engaged in this multifaceted research will gain expertise in: synthetic strategy, reaction invention, mechanistic analysis, and computational chemistry.
