Aneta was born in Białystok, Poland and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She attended Barnard College, where she worked with Professor Christian Rojas researching metal-catalyzed aziridination and amination reactions of sugars. She also worked in the lab of Professor Alison Williams studying the conformation and stability of triple-helical DNA. Outside of chemistry, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and drinking tea.
