Jin Wang was born and grew up in YiWu, Zhejiang province of China. He received his B.A. in Chemistry from Zhejiang University of Technology in 2007 and completed his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Jacques Prandi at University of Toulouse 3- Paul Sabatier and Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology-CNRS (IPBS-CNRS, France) in 2015, focusing on the synthesis of carbohydrate antigens from Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. In 2016, he became an Assistant Professor at Yancheng Teachers University (China). In 2019, he joined the Newhouse group as a visiting scholar. Outside of the lab, he enjoys watching movies and playing ping-pong.
